Paul came into the shop in March of 2014 wanting to reset a family stone available to him. He knew his girlfriend liked rose gold and that she was a fan of the “halo” design. After a thirty minute discussion, we presented him with photographs of designs and he chose his mounting.
Two weeks later, when the mounting arrived, we had the stone set for him and presented his ring to him the day before he planned to propose. He was enamored. In fact, his exact words were, “Wow. It’s more beautiful than I ever imagined it would be.”
He sent us a message the next day saying that he had popped the question during a hot air balloon ride (she said yes!) and when they landed — to her surprise — both families were there to greet them. What a sweet story!

Hannah is a longtime customer and friend of ours, and she inherited a green foil back rhinestone from her mother’s side of the family. The stone has a lot of meaning to her, and though she thought it “ridiculous,” it was important to her to put the stone in a mounting all her own.
We worked with our designer and agreed on a sturdy, gold matte finished bezel-set mounting with a .10ct diamond on each side of the stone. The result was stunning, and she could not have been happier.
