When we fall in love with a ring, we fall hard. Once these original period pieces get sold, we never see them again… so we decided to mold the ones we love so we can make them anew. Here are three rings, made from molds of the originals, in the Georgian, Edwardian, and Art Deco style.

A client from Kentucky who found us here (hi, Patti!) had a cluster ring of her mother’s that wasn’t her style. She loved one of our yellow gold mountings and asked if we could set the diamond cluster top into it. Sure we could! It turned out lovely and she nearly cried when she put it on.

A New (old) Ring for Heather
February 6, 2015 @ 1:39 pm
Heather’s a client of ours whom we’ve never met. She found us through our Etsy store and we’ve made three custom pieces for her. Here’s the latest.
Heather sent us a picture of this ring (below) and said “I found this online. I love the style. Could you do something similar in diamonds?” Of course we could.
Some people would call us hoarders — we prefer preservationists. We happened to have a lovely old Victorian bypass mounting kicking around the shop. We also happened to have two diamonds which would fit perfectly in the mounting. It was important to her that the diamonds be Old European cut, and these fit the bill.
The ring came back today, and boy is it stunning! A genuinely old mounting… with genuinely old diamonds… you’d never know the ring was put together in 2015.
